A Back-to-School Giveaway event is being held by Stylesaves® Organization.
Stylesaves® will provide free uniforms, backpacks, school supplies and more to school-aged students in need.
The event will take place:

• Dates:         Saturday, August 10, 2024; and Sunday, August 11, 2024
• Time:          10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Location:    Miami Beach Convention Center – 1901 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida 33139

PARENTS MUST PRE-REGISTER THEIR CHILD(REN) IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE THE BACK TO SCHOOL UNIFORMS AND SUPPLIES.

PLEASE NOTE: Transportation will not be provided by the school for the identified students to attend this event.

On July 16, 17, and 18, the M-DCPS Parent Academy will offer virtual workshops on vital topics through their Summer Parent Academy. Topics include: Parent Portal, Schoology, Autism, Safety, and others.

·        The July 16th sessions will be delivered in English; July 17th in Haitian-Creole; and July 18th in Spanish.

• Take the 2023-2024 M-DCPS Title I Parent/Family Engagement Survey online (English), (Spanish), and (Haitian-Creole). The survey will be available online through Friday, June 21, 2024.
• Parents who are unable to complete the survey online, may be provided with the printed version of the 2023-2024 M-DCPS Title I Parent/Family Engagement Survey (English), (Spanish), and (Haitian-Creole).

The School Climate Surveys are an integral part of the District’s efforts to promote school improvement and educational accountability. School Climate Surveys of parents, students, and staff have been annually administered in the Miami-Dade County Public School district since the early 1990s. The purpose of these surveys is to gather information regarding what these groups think about the school and their perceptions concerning how the school can be improved.
